The scariest thing….Getting Started

Sometimes getting started something new is the hardest thing.

A habit. A routine. Making new friends. Starting a new job. A fitness regimen. Just to name a few.

And I admit, the first time I walked into a Pilates studio…and saw the apparatus…WOW! First thought….7 Shades....what the heck are we going to do? And why the heck are they calling it APPARATUS?

So, a little run down of what ACTUALLY will happen to calm anyone’s nerves out there.

You will come to find a warm, sunny, welcoming studio! Folks will probably say hi to you that don’t know you and tell you how hard albeit glorious it is; yet they have been coming for years.

You will be given some paperwork to tell me about yourself.

You will talk to me and we will discuss such things as: past history of injury/surgery, goals, what drew you to start Pilates/a new movement routine.

From there, we will start moving. Specifically towards YOUR goals from day 1. I will be looking to see where you are on day 1 and where you want to go. And we will talk about the game plan and how specifically we are going to get you there.

And hopefully, you will fall in love with the work! You will see the many benefits it would bring to your everyday. How it can impact your goals both short and long term.

That’s it! You would have to fill out paperwork; talk to me; move; & we would probably discuss at the end. Three steps to get you started. I hope that has been illuminating to encourage you to take the leap!

I know you can do it! I believe in all my clients and what they want to accomplish. Hope to see you in the studio!
